Image: Illusions and conspiracy theory

Did you ever watch the TV show, “The X Files?” It centered on UFOs, aliens and implied government cover-ups and meddling. Fox Mulder, the character played by David Duchovny, had a poster of a UFO hanging on his office wall proclaiming, “I want to believe.” And the theme of the show was “The truth is out there.”

Are you constantly searching for the truth “out there?” Do you continuously seek the approval of others, rather than seeking your own self-satisfaction?

You can find your own “Truth” by looking inward for answers. It’s the focal point that combines your own unique talents, purpose, acquired skill and experience. Searching for external rewards and answers leaves us unsatisfied and unfulfilled. It seems to be human nature to seek answers from others rather than by trusting ourselves.

We have an innate guidance system that resides within each of us. We must do everything we can to nurture and foster the development of this extraordinary, special, and intuitive place.

“Truth lies within ourselves: it takes no rise from outward things, whatever you may believe. There is an inmost center in us all, where truth abides in fullness and to know rather consists in opening out a way whence the imprisoned splendor may escape than in effecting entry for light supposed to be without.”
– Robert Browning
