George and Lucy, it’s a good time for you to start thinking about these things, so I am planting a few seeds.

You have been born at a time of extra-ordinary opportunity.

I want to introduce you early to a major idea that I learned from Jim Rohn.
It’s good practice for me to remember, so I think I will get some benefit from this review as well.
There are Five Major Pieces to the Life Puzzle.
Focus on these five areas, and weave your own special magic by breathing life and energy into your plans and dreams.
A few additional ideas:
- Find an expert who is doing what you want to do, and study them
- DO what you love to do; you will probably have natural talent in that area
- Make enough money so that you can enjoy life; it is a necessary tool
- Live within your means
- Develop a Long term view (20 years) of investing, so that accumulated capital becomes your servant
- Continually go Back to the Future to guess where opportunity exists. (Hint: It will be a lonely place, no one else will see it yet.)
- Work in the real world by ACTING; make mistakes and learn from experience, especially failure
Read through the core ideas in this website often to generate ideas; they are time-worn principles that work.
