P.S. to Meeting in the Middle.

I told you this guy is great, one of the smartest I’ve never met.

He is one of the best thinkers on the planet, but he goofed once last year.

He said by the end of 2008, there won’t be a boomer left in America.

Still, here, still fighting the good fight.*

Just not the same way anymore.

How ’bout you?

If you have been a regular reader of his column, you will understand, of course, that Roy was right, and we are just zombies walking around as the living dead.

Anyone unwilling to embrace the change has been wiped out, including institutions like auto groups, finance stalwarts Bear Sterns, Lehman, etc.

Adapt or die. Meeting in the middle is no choice at all. Taking calculated risks at the edges is where it’s at.

Go watch an old-fashioned clock.

Let me know if the pendulum stops at the low or keeps swinging; as far as I know there are certain laws of physics at work that have not been repealed.

Just in case you don’t make the time to scurry down Roy’s relevant rabbit hole, I am posting this link I found at the end of it.

Talk about time travel.

* Born in December, 1945 so standing at the head of the line of Boomers. Close enough for Government work.
