Image: “If you don't know where you are going, you might wind up someplace else.”
- Yogi Berra

Yogi Berra has immortalized these words. He has a way of being funny by restating the obvious in a redundant manner.

“Déjà vu all over again” is like rambling around in circles without making any real progress.

Do you know of anyone whose life looks like this?

Like a broken record, their past keeps repeating over and over. Whether too much to drink, too much to eat, or not enough money saved, the same problems keep re-occurring.

Most of us set boundaries on our thinking, which limits our actual accomplishments because we refuse to see ourselves “bigger” than we are. Our outer reality will not change until our inner world changes.

There is another group of people who also experience this same phenomenon, but with much different results. They have learned how to get what they want in life, and they keep experiencing more of the same.

Put another way: “The rich get richer and the poor get poorer.”

Do you choose to be rich or choose to be poor?

Another memorable quote by Yogi: “Nobody goes there anymore, it’s too crowded.”

Where do you suppose is more crowded: being rich or being poor?
