Do you want to create a fortune? Simple! Just wave your magic wand and chant the magic formula, “wizardz of wealth!” three times.

Unfortunately, it’s usually not that easy.

Programming our mind and body to accomplish our goals may take repeated attempts. Expect many misses along the way, but we must resolve to keep trying and learning from our experiences. Some studies have shown that most millionaires fail 17 times in business before making their first million!

Like a key to a car, all it takes is one little piece of the puzzle to be missing, and we can be frustrated in our efforts. That’s why it is so important to never give up until we find the right solution.

If market conditions change we need to be mentally flexible and seek aternative solutions.

I like to prioritize my needs into three distinct categories:

  • Survival
  • Comfort
  • Leisure/Luxury

First things first.  Get expenses in line, stripping out the needless ones. Find new cash generators, and hopefully steady, reliable sources. Only when our base needs our taken care of with plenty of reserves will I consider the “finer things” in life.

Defense allows us to stay in the game long enough to try some offensive plays.

“‘Things that matter most should never be at the mercy of things that matter least.” – Goethe
